We've just looked at camper vans. Spoke to a few people about whats best to buy and how much different ones would be. We spoke to the hire company we had just used to get from Melbourne and he showed us one he had for sale. It was 9 year old Toyota Hiace hitop camper, white and he was getting it ready for it MOT. We said we'd have a chat and call back later.
We started to get thing ready for when Emma, Hannah's friend was arriving on the 21st. We looked at other accommodation for us as the hostel we were in was noisy. Hannah had not got a good first nights sleep as there was a large group of Irish yobs drinking, cheering and singing all night. We found out later that they are a team over here playing Gaelic football.
On the 20th we got a txt from Emma to say she had arrived in Cairns airport a day early. Hannah was excited to see her. Emma arrived and said she didn't want to stay in Sydney for the night as planned, coz it was grey, cold and raining. So we got her a room in the hostel with us and had a beer to celebrate her arrival. We got a car for the next couple of days to visit the Daintree and Cape Tribulation (oldest rain forest in the world). Also we have decided to buy our camper van, we pick it up on Wednesday.

Hello you two,
We are still drowning in England. Now the South is suffering, the Government are beginning to take it all seriously, I think.
Just been out for our meal - it is Thursday!.
You sound as though you really have a grasp now of what you want to do.
We are going to Turkey on our boat in 7 days time. 2 August to 16 August so we shall lose touch for a while. It is 43 degrees at the moment!!!!

Wow sounds like you are still having an ace time, and very busy !!
We had a brill holiday in The Lakes it was so relaxing and the weather was actually quite good (only had rain on 1st and last day!). We had a girls night out last week to celebrate us all being back off our hols. We went to The Noodle Bar at West One then Clare, Rachel and I went out afterwards and drank like students and got very drunk!!!
Tom finally got the all clear from his physio about his knee so he went and played footie last thursday but after only 8 mins it twisted again so he is on crutches and looks like he may have to have op.
Sam is good but having quite a few tantrums so I have decided today to cut out all chocolate and bad food to see if that helps - fingers crossed ! He doesn't have that much any way but am willing to try anything !! Been to tram museum today with him and he loved it, he could have tavelled all day on the old trams. Tom and Kevin taking Clare and I away next weekend for relaxing spa break at very posh hotel - am so excited.
We all miss you very much.

how you doing sounds like you're having a great time and lots of fun so far.
Well we are back from barcelona had a great time, big busy city! did lots of tourist things went around on a bus for 2 days, you could get off where ever it was a good way to get around, it was very HOT! Had lots of tapas, beer and vino and chilled out, just what we needed after the trauma we had before we went,
just sorted fielding road out after it got flooded what a nightmare that was, so we have been pretty busy with that and now at home they are starting to knock the kitchen out in preparation for my new one so have everything in the lounge at moment!
Its great news for tom and cheryl really pleased for them.
Just been for a walk with rachel and aileen both well, aileens bloke is learning to be a driving instructor.Went to chatsworth last week and met up with nicky and the girls cheryl and sam came too.
Went away last weekend with tom and cheryl to stapelford park in leicester it was amazing our room was the same size as our house!! It was sooooo posh we really fitted in well!!
