Dolphin and Whale watch, Wednesday 17th Oct 2007

Explored Kalbarri National Park this morning, we went to the Rossgraham lookout and had breakfast looking out over the gorge. It was Beautiful!!
We drove down into Kalbarri town, which is like any seaside town back home. We stopped at a place called blue holes for a snorkel but it was a little cold and the tide was out. We carried onto Jakes point and red bluff beach but didn't really see much. We got to red bluff lookout and saw lots of wild dolphins, about 15-20, they were so cool to watch. At the Natural Bridge we saw jet more dolphins and watched lots of whales splashing, swimming and playing. There were too far away to take any good photo's but fantastic to watch. We got talking a an Aussie couple for about an hour and half. We went onto shell house gorge but not really much to see there either. We drove past pink lake in Port Gregory and had lunch in the bay. After our busy day we drove onto Geraldton, the drive was beautiful as the scenery changed from dry tree's and grass to lovely green grass and tree's. There were clouds in the sky and sheep in the fields. we were droving through the hills for the for the 1st time since Cairns. Just after we arrived at the campsite the heavens pored and it was just like home. We got out our jumpers again tonight.
