Dolphins in Monkey Mia, 15th Oct 2007

We set off early in search to see the dolphins, we arrived at 7am and there was already a crowd. We watched as the dolphins swam around and waited to be fed. Only one of them wanted food, we stood and got some good photo's. We booked into the campsite, our spot wasn't ready so we went for a walk along the beach. We saw the dolphins again, this time the rangers were talking about them so we went over. We got a little spot at the front and Hannah was lucky to be chosen to feed Picalo, the pregnant dolphin. We were really happy, there such beautiful animals, Hannah said it smiled at her as she fed it. We watched a video about the ocean and parked the van in our little spot. We had some lunch and a little snooze then went out on a glass bottom boat. We saw some manta rays , big ones, small ones and tiny ones, but didn't see any more dolphins. We had to move the van cause some plonkers parked there caravan about 2cm away from us, so we moved as it was a little intrusive. We had dinner and decided to get up super early in the morning.
