Today we started driving towards Perth. The scenery was beautiful, drove past all the wind farms, green fields and thousands of cows. We drove into a tiny village called Gin Gin, where we stopped for lunch. We then drove to Yanchep national park. This is were we saw Koalas, mainly just sleeping and saw some baby ducks. We got a little lost on the outskirts of Perth and nearly ended up in the centre.It took us 2 hours to drive about 20 km as we got stuck in rush hour traffic.
The problem was throughout the rest of OZ we have had free maps from the tourist office but in WA they don't really have any good one. The Perth map had not really got any road names or new roads on it, apart from the city centre. So it was a little bit of luck and following the railway lines before we found our campsite. We stayed near Scarborough beach! Hannah got playing with the local ducks and their ducklings and every time we opened the van door the ducks were there really for some food. So we gave the some old bread and they were our new friends for the night.
